Understand the parts of an implant quotation and compare like-for-like proposals without relying on a headline price.
One price can describe different things
An implant quotation may refer only to the fixture in the jaw or to a complete replacement tooth. Ask whether the connecting component and crown are included. For a bridge, confirm the number of implants and replacement teeth separately.
Ask for the treatment stages
An itemised quote should identify assessment, imaging when needed, surgery, temporary teeth and the final restoration. Ask separately about extractions, grafting or other preparation recommended after examination. These are not automatically required for every patient.
Include the care after fitting
Compare review visits, cleaning, adjustments and the terms for repairs. If treatment involves travel, include journeys and accommodation in your own budget. A low initial price can be an incomplete description of a longer course of care.
Why this guide does not give a clinic price
Dentaneva has not supplied a current, verified price list for this rebuild. Request a written proposal for your examined condition. Ask how long it is valid and what circumstances could change it rather than treating an online average as your treatment cost.
Discuss your options
General implant information: FDA — Dental implants. Treatment stages: Leeds Teaching Hospitals — Dental implants.
Read an implant quote line by line
Check whether the quoted unit is the implant body, the restored tooth, an arch or a complete treatment stage. Identify the abutment, crown, temporary replacement, imaging and reviews separately. Ask how additional findings are priced and approved. Keep the original quotation and the revised plan so that changes are understandable before payment or consent.
Understand changes to the estimate
An online estimate is based on limited information. Ask which findings at examination could change the proposed treatment, and whether those changes would affect both the fee and the number of appointments. Request a revised written plan before agreeing to additional work. For example, a quotation for replacing one tooth should not silently become a quotation for treating neighbouring teeth. The reason for each proposed change should be explained in language you understand.
Separate payment timing from treatment timing. Identify what a deposit reserves, which conditions apply if the plan changes, and when each balance is due. Ask for the cancellation and refund terms in writing rather than inferring them from a promotional page. Keep clinical fees, travel expenses and ongoing maintenance in separate categories. We do not publish an assumed total here because a meaningful figure depends on the examination and the confirmed scope of your individual plan.
